Our lead photographer Mike Britt has had a passion for horses that formed during his youth years as a 4-H
member in Surry County, VA. During these 4-H years is when he met wife Christie. Christie grew up
showing horses, donkeys and mules all across the country with her family. Christie grew up in Prince
George , VA and moved to their current home in Suffolk, VA when they were married in 2003.
Mike started out taking photographs of horses at various shows he attended as a hobby and favor for
family and friends. This hobby has grown into a passion for Mike and he and Christie travel all across
the Southeast photographing horse shows, trail rides, and other equine events.
What do we do when not behind the lens of a camera? Mike and Christie own and train 4 American
Quarter Horses and enjoy showing them in barrel racing and other speed events. We are both 4-H
volunteers and help run the Southeast District Qualifying Horse Show and Horse Camp every year.
We give riding lessons and have recently purchased a 40+ acre farm in which we are anxious to start
construction of our new facility which includes a 8 stall barn, indoor riding ring and outdoor
150 X 200 lighted riding arena.
Mike works as a Quality Assurance Specialist at SupShip, Newport News, and Christie is a Health
Physicist at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
